DT Painting

Starting out as just a side hobby on top of his day time painting job, U.S. Army veteran Derek Thramer has thrusted his hobby into a hot commodity with his custom cornhole boards. A two man job, consisting of his brother custom building the boards, Derek has then taken his painting background and uses it to get creative. By taking the consumer’s wants, needs, and desires, he is able to transform a basic looking piece of wood into quite the creation. Getting his creative juices flowing, he uses all sorts of takes on ingenuity with his themed boards. Whether it is American themed or sports themed, he even as stretched the thought process on making music genre based boards as well. Boards go for $250- $300, with a complete set of throwing bags included with the pair of cornhole boards. Looking to spread his brand name and grow the newer business, DT Painting is looking to start conducting special event sales from holiday themed boards to sales for veterans and referral bonuses. With the summer coming and filled with backyard BBQs and trips to the lake, Thramer is hoping for his business to boom with loads of orders coming his way. The big promotion of his company re-start is to begin in May with an epic amount of orders to be filled due to the time of year and sales galore. The business hope is to to present price reduced sales on their boards for Mother’s Day as well as Cinco de Mayo themed boards and bags to be sold. Thramer is hoping to expand his reach of his brand through more social media platforms and regular postings with the more products he produces and sells. With the added production of the boards, their next current project is to bring on a few more veterans for work and production ideas. The hope is to take the image of a small time cornhole board painter, to a multitude of bigger projects to be painted.
