So Satisfying

There have become thousands upon millions of viral sensations in the past handful of years. From people doing trick shots, all the way to dogs yawning in slow motion. However, one compilation that has shown a firestorm in many different arenas is that of satisfying videos. A major moniker known as “So Satisfying” amongst different platforms shows videos of an array of satisfying actions. Whether it is soap cutting, ball squishing, or kinetic sand being cut, carved, or sculpted, it truly keeps us entranced. The “So Satisfying” brand does a great job at capturing and keeping it’s audience’s attention by using different blends of colors, sounds, and objects in a variety of ways. When looking at the numbers, something such as a satisfying video that can be up to 15 minutes at a time scores way better on a platform such as YouTube. This is most likely due to that being a platform built solely for embedding of videos. Whereas other arenas such as Facebook and Twitter have strong presence, a platform like Twitter doesn’t get as much attention from viewers. On the other side of the spectrum, this could be due to Twitter being more of a microblogging atmosphere that is built off of words and shorter videos. In the end, for virality to happen it’s all about creating entertaining content that will not only draw new viewers, but to retain your current cliental.
